Siddharth (Sid) Kulkarni is an economist and researcher with more than 15 years of experience in the economic development and technology sectors. Sid's career history includes time spent as an analyst, researcher, and data scientist at The Brookings Institution, Adobe, WeWork, and Stripe.
Sid's previous research includes tracking metropolitan area economic development indicators post-recession, developing a new measure of college quality based on post-graduate outcomes, and creating a novel measure of inflation based on online transactions. In addition to analyzing large datasets of private and public economic data, Sid has several years of experience as a survey scientist and qualitative researcher.
Siddharth holds Bachelor's of Arts degrees in Economics and Political Science from UC San Diego and a Master’s Degree in Applied Economics from Johns Hopkins University. Outside of work, Sid serves on the Board of Directors of the Yoga Alliance/Yoga Alliance Foundation and is a Big Brother in the Big Brothers Big Sisters Program. Sid lives in Carlsbad, California with his wife, daughter, and rescue dog, Twix.
